Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Hot Flush system.  Originally, the Hot Flush was designed for the Automotive Industry to clean the contamination from the transmission cooler after the transmission had failed; to prevent repeat and premature failures.  Today, Hot Flush is the #1 choice for cleaning oil coolers and heat exchangers in many industries, including Agriculture and Construction. Whether it's an engine, transmission, hydrostatic transmission, or hydraulic system failure; the odds of substantial damage (or a subsequent failure) is inevitable. This is solely due to the inability to clean all the contamination from the cooling system and lines.
Contamination is defined as any material that is not supposed to be there. Contaminates can be in the form of rust, scale, dirt, dust, water, products of wear and combustion. Contamination particles are very small and often not visible to the naked eye.

Why Hot Flush...

Many times coolers and cooler lines get overlooked. In order to be an efficient heat exchanger, today’s coolers make for wonderful heat exchangers, but to do that they end up with thousands of little “traps” for debris to get caught in. So the cooler manufacturers must design coolers that makes the oil molecules make contact with metal as much as possible. This leaves us with coolers that contain many various “weave” or “honeycomb” type patterns.

To ensure complete contamination removal of the cooler and lines, the Hot Flush system delivers an automated process that utilizes reverse flushing. Hot Flush has 190 degree heated oil, checkable 28 micron filtration (finer filtration options available), a flow meter, and a long lasting stainless steel cabinet, but it's our high-speed reversing that is the key to our success. Being able to instantly reverse the direction of flow every three second for one quarter of a second creates immense scrubbing energy in the cooling system that no one can match.

Preventative Maintenance...

It is strongly recommended that Hot Flush is used not only to prevent repeat repairs, but also as part of a scheduled maintenance service on heavy duty cooling systems to improve component longevity. In order to perform efficiently, the cooling system must be free from rust, scale and other deposits. Preventative cleaning with the Hot Flush system will help avoid downtime caused by expensive out of service cleaning thats required for extremely dirty and neglected cooling systems.

Hydraulics:

Pump/motor failure, bearing failure, overheating, cavitation and internal leaks are a few problems that will produce contamination within a hydraulic system. Contamination is the single largest contributor of hydraulic component failures.  Contamination is considered to be any substance found in the hydraulic oil not specified by the oil producer.  Water, dirt, dust, air, etc... Flushing the hydraulic system after the failure will ensure cleanliness and proper component life.

Heavy duty cooling systems are often recommended to be tested at intervals for necessary preventative maintenance.

A new oil cooler can cost the customer thousands of dollars, not to mention the hours it will take you to replace it. Furthermore, new OEM coolers have contaminating particles in them from the manufacturing process.
